A: You can hire our skips for up to 14 days, ideal for most home or construction projects. Please don’t burn waste in the skips for safety and to avoid damage. When filling the skip, keep waste level with the top and avoid overfilling for safe transportation.
Q: What items are prohibited in the skip, and are there any exceptions?
A: Tyres, fridges, and gas bottles are not allowed in the skips due to environmental and safety reasons. While mattresses are usually not permitted, you can dispose of them for a £30 charge. Please also exclude plasterboard as it requires specific disposal methods.
Q: How do I manage the pick-up of the skip, and who is responsible for damages?
A: For skip pick-up, contact us once it’s full or your hire period ends. The client is responsible for any damages caused by the skip’s placement, especially if a specific location is requested.
Q: What areas do you cover, and what about council permits?
A: We cover Widnes, Runcorn, Frodsham, and Helsby. For locations outside these areas, contact us. Council permits depend on the skip’s placement location. Reach out to us for details and assistance with permits.
Q: What are the payment options and skip collection scheduling?
A: Payment can be made via cash on delivery, bank transfer, or card payment prior to delivery. While we aim to accommodate specific collection dates, skips are typically collected within 3 to 4 days of the requested date. We appreciate your flexibility.
